Our story
INSIGHT AVIATION B.V. was established in 2010 and is a leading independent service provider for consultancy and airworthiness management services. Insight aviation is approved under EASA Part CAMO and 2-REG CAMO. Insight Aviation provides support to implement, enhance and maintain effective quality systems within a client’s organisations and can offer the full support required under Part CAMO regulations. The Insight Aviation head office is located in Mijdrecht, The Netherlands, and this is the base for the core team of qualified and experienced aviation specialists. The Insight Aviation team brings a strength and depth of experience gained through worldwide exposure in all sectors of the aviation industry. The team consists of specialists in different aspects of Continuing Airworthiness of aircraft and the implementation of the complex aviation regulations.

Senior Team
Stef Loup
Managing Director/Founder
As Managing Director of Insight Aviation B.V. Mr. Loup structures and manage the CAMO Organisation and has expertise in airworthiness & regulatory. Previously Stef worked as an instructor at the NLC a Dutch Aviation College and spent 8 years as an Airworthiness & Regulatory Specialist for the CAA-Netherlands and MRB/ICA specialist and chairman for EASA. Prior to this, Stef worked at Transavia Airlines and Fokker Aircraft N.V. as licensed aircraft engineer and as Technical Representative at Fokker Aircraft N.V. where he assisted Fokker’s new customers worldwide, implementing the new aircraft types into their organization. Currently he has positions as Safety Manager, engineering manager and technical manager at several assignments.
Ronald Prins
Accountable Manager (CAMO) & Technical Director / Founder
Ronald is the Accountable Manager for the CAMO Organisation and has expertise in airworthiness & regulatory. Before Insight Aviation, Ronald was employed by Transavia Airlines. At Transavia Airlines, as licensed technician, Ronald was involved in aircraft maintenance and as a technical representative at the Boeing factory, where he was responsible for the technical acceptance. Ronald continued his career in several positions as Structure, Cabin and Powerplant engineer. Between 2007-2010 he was employed as an Airworthiness & Regulatory Specialist for the CAA-Netherlands. Currently he has positions as accountable manager, Compliance monitoring manager, engineering manager and technical manager at several assignments.
Marco Meijers
Technical Director / Quality Manager / Co-Owner
Marco joined Insight Aviation in 2012. Prior to that, Marco worked as a Program Manager for global technical asset management company, where he was responsible for overseeing asset management services, including monitoring and verifying Lessee’s compliance with applicable maintenance obligations under the lease on behalf of clients. Other significant positions held by Marco have included Senior Technical Manager for International Aircraft Management (IAM) B.V, Technical Asset Management Manager for Excel Aviation Group and Engineering Manager with Air Holland. Currently he has positions as Project Manager, Engineering Manager and Technical Manager at several assignments.
