Insight Aviation provides airworthiness surveyors for Guernsey channel islands aircraft registry.

The Channel Islands Aircraft Registry offers a full scope of regulatory services to support aircraft owners and lessors for aircraft not used for commercial air transport. The 2-REG nationality mark consists of the number 2 followed by four letters. This unique mark facilitates personalized combinations , such as names (2-JOHN), places (2-BALI), verbs  (2-SAVE), or even phrases (2-COOL). But probably more interesting is that for Off-lease aircraft which have very specific registration needs. To facilitate these, the Guernsey 2-REG has efficient registration and de-registration processes. For EASA, FAA and TCCA the 2-REG can support easy transitions with these legislation requirements.

The Guernsey Director of Civil Aviation assigned surveyors from Insight Aviation. The surveyors may perform inspections to aircraft and documentation to ensure that the aircraft is in compliance to the pre-selected criteria before it receives a CofA. The first two A319 aircraft are performed by surveyors from Insight Aviation.

More information regarding the possibilities to register your aircraft in Guernsey can be found on www.2-reg.com

The Guernsey director of Civil Aviation accepted personnel from insight aviation as technical coordinator.

The Technical Coordinator accepted by the director is responsible for the Continuing Airworthiness Management of two ATR-72 aircraft. This is comparable to the CAMO responsibilities as required within the EASA environment.

Insight provided ACAM training to Latvian and Slovenian CAA

Insight Aviation recently provided Aircraft Continuing Airworthiness Monitoring (ACAM) courses to the Latvian and Slovenian Civil Aviation Authorities. These ACAM programs, which are required by EASA, are set up via risk analysis and include the registered aircraft in these countries. ACAM will help improving the oversight for the authorities regarding aircraft and companies involved in aviation in these countries. The defined Key risk elements and root cause analysis for findings, will, when properly applied, help improving the oversight and aviation safety with the limited resources civil aviation agencies nowadays face.  Insight is able to provide more courses that will help you in better understanding requirements, and thus being more efficient with your resources
