Insight Aviation, as the CAMO, has delivered the first of six aircraft to Venezuela. The remaining 5 aircraft will follow within the next 2 months.
It is the first Fokker 50 in Venezuela, and the aircraft type had to be accepted by the local authority. This happened without any additional requirement on its configuration.
We are delighted to announce that Mr. Marco Meijers joined Insight Aviation. Marco has a broad experience in the aviation industry and decided to look for more challenges. As Technical Director he is responsible for all major technical aviation programmes within Insight Aviation. Insight was responsible to establish a clear administration for acceptance and was the CAMO to manage the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft for the past 7 months. Once the extensive maintenance package was carried out and insight performed the Export Inspection to Australia, the aircraft was accepted by SKYWEST and delivered the 16th of March.

Mid January, Insight presented a tailored Part M /CAMO training to the Fokker Services Quality Department.
Fokker Services requested Insight Aviation to find their way in the Part M and CAMO structure. As we believe and thanks to the great interaction of the participants, the training was well appreciated by both, Insight Aviation and Fokker Services.

Learning objectives
After the training the participants know how to import/transfer an aircraft into or within Europe. The training provide insight in the regulation struc-ture and philosophy and how the various requirements interlink and how they must be implemented. Who is doing what? What is allowed and what isn’t? Which organisation may do import/acceptance inspections?
